De sfeer met de levendige keuken met open vuren is heel bijzonder. De gerechten zijn prachtig. Het enige wat echt te wensen over laat is de service; die was bij ons bezoek helaas nogal onattent en onwetend.

The service at the restaurant was top-notch. The waiters were friendly, attentive and professional. They explained each dish and gave recommendations on wine. They also took into account my preferences and allergies.
The atmosphere at the restaurant was very pleasant. The restaurant is located on the third floor of a building designed by architect Jan Wils, who also designed the Olympic Stadium, opposite. The interior of the restaurant is modern and stylish, with large windows and a view of the stadium. The music was calm and did not interfere with the conversation.
The food at the restaurant was amazing. All dishes were cooked on an open fire, using local and seasonal products.All dishes were very tasty, fresh and original. The portions were sufficient, but not too large.
The price at the restaurant was quite high, but I think it was justified by the quality and quantity of food. I paid about 100 euros for four dishes and a glass of wine. I think it was a reasonable price-quality ratio.
The overall impression of the restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed every minute in this restaurant. It was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family, and I would love to visit it again in the future.

Hiermee werd het olympisch vuur teruggebracht naar de stad en heeft restaurant Wils* daar haar inspiratie uit gehaald. Executive Chef Joris Bijdendijk, Head Chef Thomas Valen en hun team weten hoe zij dit vuur kunnen temmen en kunnen hun houtovens voor heerlijke en verfijnde gerechten. Proef een ongedwongen sfeer in een groots uitgepakt maar zeer intiem interieur naar inspiratie van een Amerikaanse brasserie.
