Bij binnenkomst werden we heel vriendelijk ontvangen, onze jassen aangenomen en werden we naar onze plaats begeleid. Gelijk werd er gevraagd wat we wilden drinken. We hadden een mooie kijk op de grote open keuken en het restaurant zelf. Echter de airconditioning was niet plezant. Er zat een hele vervelende trek waardoor we steeds kou voelde. Twee andere gasten gingen tijdens de gangen naar een andere plek verhuizen.
Nadat we enige tijd zaten kregen we een amuse van het huis, haring op roggebrood. Beiden vonden het niet echt geweldig. In mijn stukje haring zat zelfs nog graat (not done). Na weer enige tijd kregen we zalm met wat zure groenten erbij. Smaak redelijk erg simpel. Vervolgens kregen we een tussengerecht heilbot op een bedje van spinazie, wortelmousse en Hollandse garnaaltjes. Dat gerecht was lekker. Uiteindelijk na enige tijd weer werd er stukje sukade geserveerd met groenten, aardappelmousse, wortelmousse en wat jus. De groenten waren heerlijk, maar de sukade was echt niet lekker. Er zat veel vet aan en redelijk veel pezen. Dit gemeld en kregen hiervoor een kopje koffie van het huis. Heel jammer dit. Bij de koffie werd ook direct het nagerecht geserveerd. Pure chocolade bownie met chocolademousse, roodfruit en slagroom. Dit smaakte erg lekker.
Naar onze mening was het redelijk en de prijs die we hiervoor betaalde was dan ook meer dan genoeg.
