Hier wordt geweldig mooi gekookt! De smaken zijn verfijnd en genuanceerd. De verschillende componenten behouden hun eigen smaak en zijn goed op elkaar afgestemd. De combinaties met de wijnen, die per glas gekozen kunnen worden, is heerlijk. De porties van elk gerecht zijn prima: niet te veel en niet te weinig.
De sfeer is ontspannen, zorgzaam en zonder poeha.
Hier gaan we zeker vaker eten.

Vyr is located on the popular 'Groest' in the centre of Hilversum in one of its most eye-catching and historic buildings. The former Gooi and Eemlander office was designed by architect J. van Laren and has been completely converted to house the restaurant. Restaurant Vyr offers guests a fine dining experience in a relaxed, atmospheric atmosphere. All dishes are prepared on an open fire, something unique to the Hilversum area. After years of experience at top restaurants like Bridges and de Basiliek, Mitchel van Rhenen is now at the helm himself in Vyr's kitchen.
