Vriendelijk ontvangen, goede en zeer snelle bediening, we hadden beiden een heerlijk voorgerecht (aubergine torentje en sashimi), hoofdgerecht was goed maar niet heel bijzonder. Restaurant zat goed vol, prettige sfeer.
Lekker gegeten, service was heel erg goed!
Disappointing experience. It took them an hour to serve the starter and the overall quality of food was poor. The main dish was even served cold. Wouldn’t recommend.

In the spring of 2020, we opened our doors on the lively market square of Gouda. Joost Zekveld tapped into his knowledge and passion for the hospitality industry once again, giving rise to Gouds Glas. With its spacious 800 square meters, the restaurant provides a suitable space for gatherings of any size.
Upon entering, the attention is quickly drawn to the six large stained glass windows. These windows are a nod to the stained glass windows of the Gouda St. John's Church, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Each window features an image of local landscapes, buildings, or businesses. The building has five different spaces, each suitable for various occasions. It was formerly a trade hall where many weddings took place, and we are especially proud that you can exchange vows here and then celebrate with your entire party! Whether you want to dine under the glass dome in the grand restaurant, hold a meeting in the unique wine bar, or have drinks on the mezzanine or terrace, you are warmly welcome at Gouds Glas!
Local seasonal products take center stage in the kitchen of our international chef Jozsef Banicz. Every season, he and his team prepare the most delicious dishes. Be surprised by delightful daring flavor combinations with matching wines selected by our wine experts. And above all, enjoy being together.
