Mooi opgemaakte borden, echter te luchtig. We hadden geen vol gevoel. Kleur van de gerechten mooi. Kwa smaak te vlak, mag wat gekruider.

Het pand ziet er aan de buitenkant mooi uit. Parkeren kan in de directe omgeving en altijd plek. Bij binnenkomst werden we niet direct opgemerkt en hebben we even staan wachten helaas. Uiteindelijk naar onze tafel begeleid naast de glazen wijn-wand. Als de buitendeur erachter open staat, is dit een behoorlijk koude en tochtige plaats. Als de deur dicht is prima te doen. De ambiance is mooi en sfeervol. Warm interieur. Menu voor de RW duidelijk. Zeer schappelijke prijzen voor Prosecco en wijnarrangement. Daarentegen bizarre prijzen voor water. Fles Spa rood van 0,75 liter voor € 5,50 vind ik echt nergens over gaan. Menu zat verder goed in elkaar en smaakte goed. Ook het tussengerecht was smaakvol. De keuken heeft duidelijk z'n best gedaan om een goede indruk af te geven in de RW. Leuk! Bediening doet ook goed z'n best, maar mist her en der wel kennis over wijnen.
Een voortreffelijk voorgerecht met flinterdun gesneden heilbot, botermals, en zeer smakelijke zalmstukjes. hoofdgerecht prachtig stuk kabeljauwfilet met risotto, nagerecht met chocolademousse, perensorbetijs. Als extraatje een verrukkelijke bon gemaakt door een stagiair, top.

Hoofdgerecht; kabeljauwfilet, ruime portie, maar de combinatie met risottofantasie niet complementair; runderlende prima, ook in combinatie met pastinakenpuree; dessert was aardig, maar niet bijzonder. Alles bij elkaar toch zeker waar voor je geld. We zijn de laatste keren bij Fred, Kip en Parkheuvel meer verwend, maar dat had natuurlijk ook zijn prijs. De bediening laat het nodige liggen; 2 charmante jongedames, die wel hun best doen, maar die nog veel moeten leren; brood vergeten, wijn inschenken over de gast heen; te lang wachten met afruimen, terwijl er geen drukte is, zijn een paar voorbeelden. Hun enthousiasme en het aanbieden van een bijzondere proefbonbon (witte chocolade, kreeft en passievrucht)maakten weer e.e.a. goed. Samengevat; mooie zaak waar we aardig hebben gegeten met een vriendelijke bediening.
