Aan de foto's te zien lijkt het niet veel maar het was ruim voldoende. We gingen zonder plof-gevoel naar huis nadat wij ons buitengewoon vermaakt hebben aan smaak, hoeveelheid, bediening en service. Het is zeker de moeite waard om jezelf(++) een keer in Oxalis te fêteren.
De prijs en de kwaliteit is in evenwicht maar houd er wel rekening mee dat een hoge kwaliteit niet "gratis" gaat.
Heerlijk gegeten en goed verzorgd door de gastheer en gastvrouw.
Het eten was van perfecte kwaliteit. Heel fijn hoe ze rekening hielden met mijn zwangerschap en de daarbij horende dieet beperkingen.
Echter wat ik niet vind kunnen, is dat een kind van een jaar of 6/7 in de keuken aan het "helpen" is. Onhygiënisch en onprofessioneel.
Ook miste wij sfeer in het restaurant. Er staan weinig tafels en je zit in een soort van uitbouw.
We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Ze besteden veel aandacht aan het eten. Goede uitleg bij de producten en zeer smaakvol. Rauwe vis in zuur bij het hoofdgerecht en oa bietjes verwerkt in het dessert. Verrukkelijk!
De gerechtjes waren mooi en goed, maar de sfeer en de bediening kunnen verbeterd worden.

About Oxalis
Restaurant Oxalis by Geoffrey van Melick is a small living room restaurant with a suite. The restaurant is located in the old post office of Wervershoof in the tourist triangle between Hoorn, Enkhuizen, and Medemblik.
The restaurant was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand in November 2018 for a good price-quality ratio.
"What is good does not have to come from far," that is Restaurant Oxalis' credo. Restaurant Oxalis is, therefore, the perfect place for an extensive dinner or lunch.
The ingredients are pure and natural and come from the local West Friesland.
