We hebben echt heerlijk gegeten en de bediening was ontzettend vriendelijk! Ondanks dat het restaurantweek was hebben ze veel werk gemaakt van het eten. Bij andere restaurants is dit nog weleens anders. Niets op aan te merken dus. De Compagnon is echt een aanrader!

Het speciale restaurantweekmenu was heerlijk. Wij hebben genoten in de prachtige ambiance van de Amsterdamse binnenstad. De Compagnon is een prachtig restaurant met een mooie kaart en geweldige bediening.
Wij komen zeker terug, dit is een aanrader!!

In een prachtig pand met uitzicht op het Damrak huist dit fantastische en sfeervolle restaurant. Hartelijk ontvangen en gezeten aan een ruime tafel op de bovenverdieping hebben wij heerlijk gegeten. De wijnkeuze hebben we helemaal overgelaten aan het kundige oordeel van Sara van Buschbach. Zes verschillende wijnen hebben we geproefd. Een verrassende oloroso PX bij een mousse van aardappel en truffel, een duitse Riesling bij het voorgerecht van kreeft. De vernuftig in elkaar gedraaide gerechtjes waren heerlijk van smaak. Bijzonder om te horen dat Bert van Buschbach zelf iedere ochtend zijn zuurdesembrood maakt. Wanneer hebben deze mensen vrij?? Petje af voor dit enthousiaste echtpaar dat met een kundig team dit mooie restaurant draaiende houdt!

We had a great lunch in De Compagnon with a delitious lobster salad perfectly matching with tomato sorbet and tender cod. Home-made ice-cream and selection of cheese was an awesome closure of the meal. The place itself is rather unique located in the old Dutch house on the water. We enjoyed it a lot.
