Niet zo geweldig als tevoren gedacht. Het eten was (grotendeels) uitstekend van kwaliteit, maar niet onderscheidend ten opzichte van andere goede restaurants.
De bediening liet te wensen over: meer dan 20 minuten met lege aperitiefglazen en zonder enige aandacht op een tafeltje wachten, en geen brood bijserveren ...

De bediening liet te wensen over: meer dan 20 minuten met lege aperitiefglazen en zonder enige aandacht op een tafeltje wachten, en geen brood bijserveren dan nadat erom gevraagd wordt, men verwacht beter bij twee sterren. Het wijnarrangement kon qua prijs/kwaliteit-verhouding ook (veel) beter. Jammer.

opmerkelijke discrepantie tussen niveau witte zwarte brigade... op 'n aantal fronten kan de bediening aanbevolen worden aan enige zelfreflectie te doen... ten faveure van Erik van Loo en zijn gasten...

We hebben een heerlijk 7 gangen diner gegeten en een heel gezellige avond gehad.
Alles was uitstekend, kan niet beter.

Modern and luxurious restaurant: Parkheuvel**, led by the Van Loo family, situated in a park with wonderful views over the river Maas and not far from Rotterdam's city centre.
Parkheuvel restaurant has recently been restyled by the architect Thed Konings in a refined and intimate interior, French art deco style.
Parkheuvel´s capacity is 75 seats. Furthermore there is a separate, intimate salon where companies can be received.
Harmonious gastronomy of a refined taste and rich with subtle aroma is this establishment's goal, in order to please the most spoiled customers.
