De kok beheerst de basisvaardigheden uitstekend en dat merk je, heerlijke smaken en juiste garing. De meeste creaties gaan goed en af en toe vliegt iets uit de bocht. Maar er is een sterke ambitie naar verfijning en voortreffelijk! Alle lof! We hebben ruim vier uur getafeld en dan blijkt een te diepe bank en te hoge tafel geen geweldige combinatie. De wijnen zijn een succes, top, alleen stevig in prijs. Het eten heeft overigens een heel goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding! Een aanwinst voor Bergambacht!
Wij hebben in de restaurantweek heerlijk kunnen genieten van voortreffelijk, mooi, origineel en prachtig opgemaakt eten met daarbij het heerlijke wijnarrangement

Een geweldig (kleinschalig en intiem) restaurant waar de gastvrijheid hoog in het vaandel staat. Zeer attent en flexibel personeel. Een culinaire sensatie.

About Pieters Restaurant*
In the heart of the Green Heart, at Bergambacht, Restaurant Pieters will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2024. Since its opening in 2014, under the passionate leadership of Pieter and Paula, the restaurant has built an impressive track record: from winning the Golden Ladle in its first year, to acquiring a Michelin star in 2021 and achieving 14.5 Gault&Millau points.
Pieter, SVH Master Chef since 2009, has worked as chef de cuisine at several renowned restaurants, including Cour du Nord*, Corona*, Puccini, and Chagall*. His culinary journey began at Sancerre in Amsterdam and included an internship at Marco Pierre White's The Restaurant*** in London.
Paula, his wife and partner in the restaurant, has allowed her passion for hospitality and wine to flourish. Together they defined the look and design of their restaurant. Paula's expertise extends to Pieters Restaurant's fine wine collection, while she also handles the administrative side of the restaurant.
