Heerlijk gegeten , gezellig en knus restaurant en leuke bediening!
Heerlijk met mijn ouders buiten gegeten. Bediening zoals altijd meedenkend en attent.
Vis en vlees gekozen en dat was beiden prima.

History of Eethuis de Waag
1356 Jan van Blois leases the Waag to the Poorters van Schoonhoven. In the great city fire, the Waag is destroyed along with 320 houses, 3 monasteries, 1 gate, 1 tower, 9 oil mills and the Slot.
1519 Rebuilding is underway.
1558 Philips II pledges the Waag to the city of Schoonhoven.
1617 De Waag is undergoing renovation.
1758 Due to renovations, the Waag gets its final shape..
1762 Van Berkum writes: "an incredible crowd of Hennip is weighed annually in the Waag, which is marketed and sold here for all Koopluyden."
1972 The Waag is put into use as a Pannekoekenhuis.
1995 De Waag is expanded into a restaurant.
